Privacy Policy for Viisi
Overview
Viisi respects your privacy. Viisi is designed to be a simple, offline, privacy-first game experience. Most gameplay happens entirely on your device and does not require creating an account.
However, some app features (such as optional email feedback, sharing achievements, and advertising on Android) may involve data being processed by your device’s operating system or third-party services.
Platform Differences (iOS vs Android)
- iOS version: no advertising is shown.
- Android version: the app displays banner ads.
This Privacy Policy applies to both versions. Where behavior differs by platform, it is noted explicitly.
Information We Do Not Collect (Core Gameplay)
During normal gameplay, Viisi does not require you to provide personal information and does not use accounts or cloud sync.
Viisi does not automatically collect the following during normal offline gameplay:
- Personal information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or contact details)
- Precise location data
- Payment or financial information
All core game logic runs locally on your device.
Advertising (Android Version Only)
The Android version of Viisi displays banner advertisements to support development. Ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK).
Google’s advertising services may automatically collect and process certain information to deliver ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. This may include:
- Device information (such as device model, OS version, language)
- Approximate location (derived from IP address)
- Advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID)
- IP address
- Ad interaction data (such as ad impressions and clicks)
- Diagnostics / crash-related information provided by the ad SDK
Viisi does not sell your personal information. However, Google may process data as described in Google’s privacy policies and related disclosures.
Personalized Ads / Consent (EEA/UK and Similar Regions)
Depending on your region, you may be asked to provide consent for personalized advertising. If consent is not provided where required, the app may show non-personalized ads (when supported) or ads may be limited.
Optional Features That May Transmit Data
Feedback / Support Email (Optional)
If you choose to send feedback using the in-app email composer, your email will be sent using your configured email account. The email may include:
- Your email address (as the sender)
- The message content you type
- Any attachments you choose to include
Viisi does not automatically read your email address or contacts. You are choosing to send the email.
Sharing (Optional)
If you share a badge/achievement, the content you share (such as an image and a website link) is sent through the sharing method you select (Messages, Mail, etc.). Viisi does not control how the receiving service handles that data.
Third-Party Services
Viisi is designed to minimize third-party services. However, the Android version integrates Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to display banner ads.
Google may collect and process certain information (such as Advertising ID, IP address, and ad interaction data) according to its own policies. Relevant links include:

Optional features like email and sharing rely on your device’s built-in system services and whatever external service you choose (e.g., your email provider or messaging app). Viisi does not control how those services handle data you choose to share.
Children’s Privacy
Viisi is suitable for users of all ages. Viisi does not require accounts and does not intentionally collect personal information from children.
If the Android version displays ads, Google may collect limited device data as described above to serve ads, prevent fraud, and measure performance. If the app is distributed as child-directed (or under a “family” program), advertising settings may be restricted and personalized ads disabled where applicable.
If a child uses the optional email feedback feature, they may transmit personal information via email depending on what they write. Parents/guardians should supervise email usage where appropriate.
Data Security
Because Viisi does not use accounts or a backend server for gameplay data, there is no central database of personal gameplay data stored by the developer.
If you email support, the security of that message is handled by your email provider and the developer’s email provider. If the Android version displays ads, ad-related data is handled by Google’s systems.
Your Choices
- You can choose not to use optional sharing or email features.
- On Android, you can reset or limit your Advertising ID through your device settings (Google settings).
- You may be offered choices for personalized ads depending on your region.
Changes to This Policy
If Viisi introduces new features that collect or process data (such as accounts, analytics, or cloud sync), this policy will be updated before those changes take effect.
